Beginning drop-in Argentine Tango class
Every Saturday from 7:30-8:30pm (tango dance afterwards until midnight). $12-$20 (more if there’s an out-of-town DJ/teacher, performance or live music) Cash/Venmo at the door.
No partner or pre-registration required, just show up!
Beg/Int Argentine Tango in August 2025 with Alex Krebs - every Wednesday night for those that have danced tango for a at least 3 months.
July we’ll continue to focus on posture, smooth and comfortable movement, connection, musicality and sequences that are practical for a crowded dance floor. August will focus on pausing and developing more lyrical movements.
$20 drop-in

Intermediate Tango with Alex Krebs Wednesday night group series: August, 2025 Sacadas
7:45-8:45pm every Wednesday night. At least 6 months solid tango dancing experience required.
We’ll focus on sacadas this month Sacadas are great for creating dynamic turns and are useful on a crowded dance floor

Wednesday afternoon guided práctica
An informal space to work on your tango. Instructor is available to help. Ricardo and Carolina will run the práctica between June 11th and July 9th. All levels. noon-2pm every Wednesday. $8 drop-in (cash/Venmo)
Every Monday night - swing dancing!
Every Monday: Swing dancing with the Portland Lindy Society
First Mondays: a swing jazz jam session 7:30-9:30 (DJ music before and after)
Amateurs welcome, fake books provided
No lesson, social dance 7-10
Cover $15, no cover for musicians who aren't dancing
All other Mondays:
Lesson 7-8, monthly series, $5 upcharge
Social dance & practicum 8-10, DJ music, $10-20 sliding scale
Intermediate fusion dance lesson every Friday 8pm. Beginning lesson 8:40pm. Dancing afterwards until midnight (Vax+ mask required). $15
