Workshops are $35 each or $125 for all 4. All workshops will be held at Tango Berretín (6305 SE Foster Rd.). No partner or pre-registration is required.

Portland 4-Week Residency! Carolina and Ricardo will be in Portland from June 6th-July 10th and will be offering regular Saturday and Sunday morning classes, as well as private lessons.
Saturdays, June 14th, 21st, 28th, and July 5th
Individual training for leaders and followers
11am-noon (all levels) - Technique, elegance and grace in movement
noon-1pm (all levels) - Adding flavor to your dance. Footwork and adornments.
Cost: $25/class, or $45 for both classes, $80 for 4 classes, and $150 for all 8 classes
Sundays, June 15th, 22nd, 29th and July 6th
11am-noon (all levels) - Awareness through movement for your dance. Feldenkrais exercises with Carolina for Argentine Tango dancers of all levels to increase ease and flow in the dance. Carolina is a certified Feldenkrais practitioner and has tailored individual exercises for specific tango applications.
*Wear comfortable clothes and bring a yoga mat, or blanket.
$25/class, or $80 for all 4.

Carolina del Rivero started dancing at the age of 6, and throughout her career she has practiced different dancing techniques. She studied ballet at the world-famous Teatro Colon (the most renowned opera house in Latin America) and later Modern Dance at the famous “Taller de Danza Contemporanea del Teatro San Martin”.
She discovered the Tango dance in 1995, and since the year 2000 Carolina travels around the world giving workshops and exhibitions, including USA, Europe, Latin America, Central America and Asia.
She was part as a Master teacher and dancer in the “Congreso Internacional de Tango Argentino” (C.I.T.A) -the world largest annual tango event that takes place in Buenos Aires every March- since 2001 until 2014.
Applying all her artistic knowledge from other dances, she brings to Tango style and elegance, as well as a profound understanding of the technique and dynamics of the dance, and also of the woman’s role in it.
Carolina has been practicing and studying The Feldenkrais Method which is a Technique of Awareness through Movement that allows us to understand how to use our body movements without effort. She graduated as a @Feldenkrais Practitioner in 2020 and started giving classes and workshops on the Method, also she started combining Feldenkrais with Tango in different seminars in Argentina and around the world having a great effect and feedback on the students.
Ricardo Biggeri is an Argentine Tango dancer, teacher, choreographer and DJ.
Ricardo has studied with well-known teachers of different styles to further his own vision of the dance.
Ricardo began his professional career in 2000, and for the next 8 years, taught 10 classes a week and held many exhibitions at La Viruta Tango, the most famous and popular place for tango at that time. He worked with highly experienced colleagues to continue to hone his teaching methods.
In 2006 he began working in different festivals nationally and in 2007 started touring internationally, teaching and performing shows at Workshops and Festivals in Canada, United States, and throughout Europe. At the same time, Ricardo remained active in the Buenos Aires tango scene teaching regular classes.
Ricardo combines the traditional and contemporary concepts creating a style recognized for its connection, musicality, elegance and dynamics.
As a teacher, Ricardo has an uncanny ability to break down movements and their techniques, finding a simple and fun way to get to the most complex sequences.
Ricardo is also a Swing dancer, teacher, choreographer and DJ.
He was a pioneer of swing dance in Argentina, laying the foundation for what is now a vibrant scene organizing and participating in countless events and winning many international awards.
